Had two night stay here as explorist. Minor upgrade. No club access. Didn't opt for breakfast. Room was decent. Visited the lounge to check out the cigar choices but they seemed quite pricey. Bed was comfortable. The concierge was excellent on providing me info about surrounding attractions/booking museum times etc. Location wise it was walkable to a nearby mall as well as a couple nearby tourist attractions such as checkpoint charlie. The metro was a bit further away than I would like. However the 300 bus runs very close by (I don't normally like taking buses) and can get you easily to a number of key points. In fact there was a lot of work being down on the metro tracks where I wanted to go at times and it added a lot of time on to my travel as I constantly had to switch trains. The bus easily got me where I wanted to go. Still at night the area gets a bit dark and there isn't a whole lot around late night. I wanted to run to a convenience store one night and it was gonna be like a 10-15 minute walk. At night there is a taxi queue out front so if you want a cab you can easily get one. I pretty much only used Uber but cabs are an option. It was an alright stay. I think there are better choices for location and more interesting areas of the city to stay in, but this property was adequate.
