Do they touch the upgrade voucher e.g return it to the account and apply it again or do they simply rebook to other flights with J-class and reissue the ticket? My Osaka flights for Jan 24 have been upgraded with vouchers that are due to expire on June 30th 2023, so I wouldn't want these vouchers to go to waste in case they decide to change the timetable which they very likely will. My itinerary is upgraded to business on all 4 segments.
They didn't in my case. My upgraded ticket was issued as J, not upgraded J and I received J miles for flights, not Q as booked originally. My vouchers were also expired by the time schedule change occured. It probably is different case, when the booking showing upgrade to J, and not re-issued to J.
