Airport scanner says I'm not enrolled in Global Entry

I used the facial recognition machine for Global Access entry at LAX yesterday and got the message of "Not enrolled." My passport is up to date; the government website states my access is legit and runs through 2024—I can't even reapply yet; I used the system at ATL in October no problem.

I didn't have my card with me; had a car service waiting; and was generally too tired to ask random employees at the airport how to resolve the situation so just went through the regular line and went home.

I've already sent a question through the government website but who knows when they will respond or what they will say. Are there any tricks I can try for easier resolution? I'll drive to LAX if I have to.
