I am hopeful that the overpriced hotel which is Novotel BKK is about to be crushed by Courtyard by Marriott which should open in the upcoming months. If CY turns out to be overpriced as well, then at least I would rather stay at an overpriced hotel which is brand new rather than an overpriced ANG aging hotel like Novotel.
I almost never elect to stay at Novotel BKK due to price but at CY I might stay on occasion.
Maybe, just maybe, Novotel BKK will decrease their prices once competition opens.
where is this Courtyard? There is already one a bit outside (around 4km) from the airport called Courtyard Suvanrabhumi, which is at the moment closed. Is that the one?
