EF should be accurate yes. When you say you have seats showing on ba.com, do you mean in manage my booking, or in OLCI? Is the flight within 24 hours now? If so, once control of the flight is transferred from the reservation side of the system to the departure control system, seats shown in manage my booking are not normally back-updated with changes made as part of the flight management/check-in process. What you see in OLCI will be accurate.
