Did you ever get a thing called "insider discount" - employees were able to hand these out in retail and call center. It is worth being polite, reaching out through online support methods and asking about your bill and is there a way to lower it. Then ask point blank about "insider discount". If the rep is stellar they will offer it but they are not obligated. This gives 20% off the non taxes/surcharges elements of your service (base service + most add ons)
