Hoping you can help me understand this.

Flying tomorrow evening from Kuala Lumpur via New Delhi with Malaysia Airlines and then onto London Heathrow with British Airways. The flights are on separate bookings, both through New Delhi Terminal 3 and with hand baggage rather than checked luggage. I’m checked into the flights but the BA app says I need to collect the boarding pass at the airport.

I’m assuming + hoping that this will just be a straightforward transit experience between flights without the need to clear immigration as I haven’t arranged a transit visa which I understand is unnecessary if I don’t leave the secure part of the airport… is this right, does anyone have any experience if doing this in Delhi? I have 3 hours 40 mins between flights…
