If flights are in June, connection is 1h25m which is legal and doable (and there are a couple later DTW-MSP flights as backups, so it's not exactly the end of the world if you miss your connection). For July and later earliest connection is 1h15m which is not legal. Having checked luggage and/or GE can make a fairly significant difference.

The odd part is the FCO-DTW flight is scheduled to depart at 11:00AM through end of schedule. They are just bumping back the arrival time (from 3:10PM to 3:20PM in July, and then from 3:20PM to 3:40PM in September). Since flight hasn't started yet, hard to gauge if current timing is reasonable. FCO-JFK flight has been blocking in at around 8h30m on A330, so 10h10m on FCO-DTW seems more than reasonable amount of time.
