1 hour is below Minimum Connection Time (MCT) for an international to domestic connection at DTW. I'm surprised you haven't been rebooked by the system (unless you're on two separate tickets). Given that you have an itinerary with a connection below MCT, you can ask to be rebooked on a later DTW-MSP flight or even ask to be routed via a different hub. You don't say who you booked through (did you book directly through delta.com or did you book through a third-party travel agency like Expedia or an employer system like Concur?). And is your ticket a revenue fare or booked with miles? That will factor in to what options may be available to you for rebooking.
