Feeling bad about bumping an old thread but didn't want to create a new one.

I have a 8 hour long layover/LHR-LGW shuffle later this month and trying to work out the logistics of adding a visit to Duxford.

This would be on a Friday from 745 AM landing till 4 PM departure.

My main issue is luggage so need to think where I could store my bag for a few hours and then hit the museum.

I know it's aggressive with the shift but wondering where is the best mid point to make it easy to leave and pick up luggage and do the shuffle to LGW.

Option A) Just go to LGW from LHR check in bag and then attempt to go to Duxford?
Option B) Paddington area (on the Elizabeth line or HeX) then backtrack after Duxford
Option C)?😶
