I've put in claim for toiletries amd clothes about €100.
is that considered 'reasonable' ? Thanks!
My golf clubs didn't make it from Manchester last weekend and as a result I had to buy all sorts of stuff for golf in Scotland on Monday including golf shoes, golf shirt, trousers, sweater, hat, golf balls, marker, tees and rental clubs. The total cost came to around £550 including additional clothing for Tuesday and basic toiletries. Submitted the claim on Tuesday, confirmation of payment by Wednesday.

It highlighted for me again the use of AirTags as an information tool to aid better decision making. BA kept telling me that the clubs would arrive on my flight or a later flight that evening but I could see from the AirTag that was unlikely so I went to a golf store, purchased a range of stuff on the basis that - in the unlikely event my baggage arrived - I would be able to return it all for a full refund. Once the last flight option had departed that night and the clubs were clearly not on it, I went to a late night store for basic toiletries. If I had not gone to the golf store when I did and before it closed on Sunday at 5:30pm I would have been out of options for Monday morning. Without the AirTag it would have been more difficult to make the correct decisions. As I've said before, the AirTag won't necessarily help you reunite with baggage any earlier but it does inform decision making.
