Hmmm, are you using the traditional Avios mix of Cash and Avios - so circa £850-£900 per person in fees? Sounds like it with that Avios balance. I'd be more inclined to look at cash deals starting outside UK. Often as low as £1000-£1300 per person, especially over summer holidays. No race to secure the Reward seats and plenty of Tier points and Avios to be earnt. Just a thought...
