Globalist Guaranteed Availability is an inflated rate agreed on beforehand between Hyatt and the Hotel, most call it the “rack rate”. Generally when I have seen this rate pop up due to the hotel being sold out it’s anywhere from 2x to 10x the normal rate for that hotel.
Never heard of it being a discount.
