The grand suite king is the room that's used for the suite upgrades. The two queen rooms are at a price premium, so I suspect they only release king rooms into the pool for award bookings, or at least only small numbers at a time to see if enough people will buy out the two queen rooms. Other than a high floor I'd be very surprised if a globalist suite upgrade worked at any high demand time, because there are not very many of those grand suite kings; I think just two per floor as they're on the ends of the building, and people surely use suite upgrades on them (like me). Other than that though, I absolutely love the property and the globalist benefits; you get a couple free drinks per day in lieu of a lounge, and the buffet breakfast is fantastic. Staff are super nice, the water park and non-smoking casino seal the deal. We visited for the first time last year and are already booked again in a couple months.
