I changed seats in AF PE and both the app and the website still show my old seat, BUT the new seat I selected became not-available, so it looks like I have both seats. I tried the KLM app and I have the same problem. I want the new seat (basinet position that just opened up, flight is tomorrow) but I am concerned with seeing that I am assigned the old seat and at the same time the old seat shows in color as available and the new one as blocked. The platinum line agent told me it is a display problem in the apps and websites and that he can see me in the new seat I selected (the basinet seat).

This is consistent with all the glitches reported in this thread, but also a bit concerning because last year I also had one time that I showed up in two seats in PE in a long-haul and when it came to check in on-line I was not allowed and at they airport they had me with NO SEAT preselected, so I ended up in a middle seat towards the back.

At some point there is a line between a screen display issue and a seat assignment glitch that impacts the customer. I'll let you know tomorrow what's the case this time....

Edit to update: I did get the basinet seat during OLCI. None of the apps or websites ever acknowledge that change until I checked in, instead showing the old one. AF/KL really need to fix this
