Thanks cruser1! Late August isn't ideal just because I'll be out west visiting relatives. But your input open my eyes to some other ideas and it is appreciated. I am going to play with ITA Matrix a bit also to try to stay within the mid-June to mid-August timeline for the moment.

One learns as one grows, I had several flights earlier in the year, booked directly with SQ, and even allowed checked baggage, so I expected some level of PQPs to be earned, but zero due to the flight class (Q in that case). I had no idea that certain classes would earn zero. So, if I book non-016, I learned to be cognizant of the earnings. (And I did find the chart in another thread.)

Also, the suggested CM flights seemed to be booked with OTAs. Most recommendations are to stay away from OTAs. But, I am willing to chance it. Any OTAs (from your link) that are more reputable than others? I won't hold you to it if something so wrong .
