Not sure if this is a one off but I made a booking this morning and after it went through I noticed I had the reservation in my account but the points had not been removed?
The closer I looked at the reservation it said pay now with points or wait until 15 days prior to arrival and the points will be removed. I then noticed something about a point advance reservation?
Weird. I have more than enough points and didn't do anything different. I cancelled the reservation and will just wait a day or so as I don't want to really mess things up as you never know what is going on the background with the IT department.
