I think you should be covered. But to know for sure go to the main Amex Rental Coverage thread and ask your question. I don't own a vehicle or have any vehicle insurance. I just rent a vehicle once or twice per year with my platinum card and get liability insurance only with the car rental company. I used to pay extra for Amex premium coverage. Now i just use the Amex card basic coverage.
