This month (May 2023) I had the opportunity to fly TP on both A330-200 and A330 Neo Business classes.
On the outbound leg (A330-200) we had seats 2H and 2K. As I was travelling with my wife, the lack of aisle access on the window seat was not an issue to us.
On the return leg (A330 Neo) we had seats 8H and 9K (I know this is considered a bad seat but the flight was packed so all good seats were already taken).
We both agreed that the seats on the A330-200 were more comfortable and even I managed to sleep on the flight (this hardly happens to me).
The footwell on the Neo felt very "coffin-like" and no matter which sleep position I tried, I could not sleep/feel comfortable in lie-flat. In the end, I left the seat in a 50-degree angle which allowed me to have a few micro-naps.
I have flown TP a number of times since 2008 and I can see each time I travel, the overall level of service has dropped (as I think is the case with most airlines with the ever increasing cost-cutting measures).
The meals I had on the C flights in 2023 looked/tasted similar to some I had on Y in 2008 (minus the presentation).
The amenity kit provided also got a downgrade (no cosmetics in the kit anymore - just socks, eye covers, ear plugs and a bookmark - it is now a tie bag instead of a zip bag as well).
They also used to leave in the lavatories toothbrush/toothpaste kits but this is now gone as well.
I would still fly TP as it provides the best connections to where I need to go in Brazil (avoiding changes in GRU/GIG).
