It seems like *A Gold lounge privileges are fairly universal. Or maybe some other *A lounges already have exceptions that I don't know about?

ironically you can buy an AS lounge membership for cheap and still fly UA. Or AC. In fact when I have to fly AC, I use my AS lounge elite lounge passes….better food and more relaxed.
