You should walk around the neighborhood (eg take alternate station exit or next closest metro station) , especially if there's a shotengai nearby.

USed this My basket mini grocery store (was close to my hotel last trip). If you search on Google maps Tokyo for "My Basket", you see a few entries. Pick asakusa and Zoom in further and search, more entries that didn't show up before
