Yes, it was a cheap XP run, I had not done one of these before but read the long thread. So its just typical that this had to happen to me (swear words)!!! That makes the trip more expensive in the end: ie £/XP and has taken the fun out of the trip.

There was not much extra wait in AMS, all sorts of delays there today so I was late getting to AMS but also later getting out (about 1 hour late in the end).

I now suspect that if I'd taken the other option given to me (LH xxx-MUC-yyy) instead then I'd get the full 45XP. OTOH, that might have got me 0XP as in the end AFKL would have got me from xxx to yyy without going via CDG and/or AMS. I opted for AMS as I've been there before so know connecting is easy (not been to MUC before and didn't want further unknowns what with the cancellation and delays.)

Now confused with the FB Miles because they will be given based on ticket price with both the CDG and AMS connections. Or will AFKL recalculated the FB Miles based on a ticket via AMS only (which I did not pay that route fare)? To me, it's just easier and more sensible to give both based on the original paid ticket.
