I ended up wasting 10 to 15 minutes, standing near the club entrance (like an idiot) loading a biz plat as a form of payment on the Delta website….

Flew my 4th Delta flight in the past 10 years, second in past month, yesterday, JKF-MIA. Confirmed AmEx Biz Plat in DL profile as payment method 1-2 days prior. Lounge access instantaneous upon scanning boarding pass at both departure (JFK) and arrival (MIA) SkyClubs.

Hoping for confirmation of showers open and available from domestic gates for a “Platinum Card Member From American Express” at the following Sky Clubs (from the Delta Sky Club & Other Lounge Locations webpage):

(Availability of toiletry kits at any of these locations would be appreciated bonus information .)

Thank you.
Not sure it’s accurately a MR, flew DL one-way JFK-MIA yesterday, flying home in 2-3 days on AA award flight. One of the few advantages of the NYC area, multiple airports and multiple airlines available. Confirming showers available at JFK (multiple shower rooms) and MIA (1 shower room). Both had toiletry amenity kits but JFK had (different) black vinyl or thin plastic pouches with fewer contents, staff said they were the “new” ones. I spent the 2.5 hour flight thinking all my planning was for naught. BUT, MIA had the exact kits (and off-white cloth Delta/Dove pouches) I was hoping for and the nice attendant gave me 2 or 3 as I requested. I’ll donate the contents to a shelter and use the pouches many times in the future.

Received the “It's Time To Check In” email. Clicked the “Check In” link, logged into my account, My Trips, Check In, error message as below. Checked in on phone, can see boarding pass on phone. Even now, couple of hours later, when clicking on “View Boarding Pass” and “Print Boarding Pass” I get the same error message. AFAICT website otherwise works properly. Thank you. … (Obviously I really liked that toiletries kit , it’s half the reason I booked this flight on Delta instead of UA or AA with whom I have status .)
Same problem with yesterday’s flight. Could not check-in or print boarding pass on Windows PC, even after checking-in on the mobile app. (No similar problems with AA or UA.) I’m pleased my motivation for flying DL has been sated .

BREAK

Datapoint re: another DL newbie subject: based on my N=1 yesterday, on a DL 737 (and maybe other aircraft) the window emergency exits row seats are part of main cabin seating, not DL Comfort. (On AA and UA they are part of Main Cabin Extra or Economy Plus, the “extra legroom” economy seats.) But at check-out on AmEx travel while booking with MR, to select exit row seats I had to select economy cabin and then pay an extra $60 (6,000 MR) for the exit row. If I selected “premium economy” (DL Comfort) and “paid” the additional $60 (6,000 MR) it would not allow me to select exit row seats (presumably because those seats are part of main cabin which according to the website are available to all main cabin ticketed pax 24 hrs prior to departure.)

I purchased DL Comfort on the AmEx website, immediately (~ 36 hrs prior to departure) called DL to request exit row window seat (which per the website was available). Had to HUCA once because “no, sorry, no can do”. Next agent 2 minutes later did so immediately along with a $40 e-credit and a new receipt showing “:e-credit balance $90”. (Not sure why the 2 different amounts.) I’m a happy camper, the e-credit was unexpected (and arguably undeserved) and might end up expiring unused.
