Sorry I searched and couldn't find an answer on this...

My wife is flying on Qatar for the first time in October. The return flight (JRO-DOH-HKG) is the first available connection at DOH and the transit time is 8h50. The Qatar website suggests she might be entitled to complimentary accommodation during the transit. What are the other criteria for this? She's in Y, with a booking class of N, if that's a factor. No status on Qatar or Oneworld.
