Everyone has their preferences. I would note, however, that the seat placement with respect to the windows does make a difference. If sitting in 1A, your shoulder will be forward of the window frame, 2A, shoulder behind window frame allowing for a more natural turn of the head to look out, 3A, shoulder further back requires stretching the neck a bit to view out while 4A would require leaning forward to look out.

The same applies to the D seats but 1D has an extra window forward.

Small correction, but this isn't correct for Horizon. 1D only has one window, just like 1A. I've flown on this aircraft countless times and the only reason I know this is that OO has 2 versions of the 175, one with 2 windows on the D side at row 1, and one with only one, which is the version that QX flies.
