I am KrisFlyer Elite Silver, and I noticed in the SQ app that it shows the number of my Elite miles earned since 1 May 2022, and the number of Elite miles required by 31 May 2023 to qualify for
KrisFlyer Elite Gold. That is a 13-month period. However, on the website, I see:
If you earn at least 50,000 Elite miles within 12 months, you'll be upgraded to KrisFlyer Elite Gold.
I have earned Elite Miles in early May 2022, and it looks like they count towards the status together with some miles earned in late May 2023, that is, those that are collected a few weeks after the 12-month period.
Does it mean that in practice, the period is actually up to 13 months (for example, from 1 May 2022 to 31 May 2023)?
I did not qualify for gold this month, so I won't find out after May passes, and I would appreciate help in understanding this.
