First off, I had NO idea that BNE was like SYD for Int/Domestic transfers! Yikes - I for some reason was thinking it MUST be like Melbourne.
In BNE, the two terminals are a 10-min bus ride (or one-station train ride) apart. You have to go out of the domestic terminal to the roadway and pick up a bus at the kerb. Also, the time needed to get through security at BNE prior to the AC departure can be considerable, and there is no priority lane for J/SE. My strategy is always to do MEL-BNE the evening prior and stay overnight at the BNE Ibis.
