I don't fly Lufthansa regularly. It was my first trip to Europe, first flight on Lufthansa First Class. The food I had at the JFK lounge was just poor for first class dining. The bar had a variety of selection but nothing stellar, I didn't see the Dalmore Alexander III. I would like to have tried it. Knowing what I was going to experience on the plane and upon arrival, I wasn't too disappointed by the lounge at JFK. The dining service on the flight was awesome. Then, the first class lounge in Frankfurt was something else. They had an extensive selection of whisky among others. I tried all kinds of 18 year old scotch/whisky. I got hammered just tasting different brands. The bartender and the other attendants were fantastic.
