Curiously enough, I'm (supposedly) doing this in a couple weeks in UK. Rental reserved through National at Manchester airport, returning car at Bath. It's booked on the National website with no mention of it being an Enterprise location (and it's not showing in the Enterprise app when I log in with my EC number) but that's fully what I expect when I get there.
Follow-up here, the rental went fine. When I checked out at Manchester, they went through the whole inspection BS like Enterprise does, and the tablet they used to check me out looked exactly like the one they use at my local Enterprise branch, but the emailed agreement came from a National email. When returning the car, the branch did not close out the agreement, they said they had to contact the originating branch, let them know the car was in good condition, then they would close it out.
I got the finalized agreement about 12 hours after I dropped the car back.
Curiously, they don't authorize your card here for the deposit, they charge it then refund you the balance on return. Can't see how that makes sense considering they probably get hit with an extra fee from the credit card companies for that.
