Lost Tier Points Due to Cancellation
Good evening,
Does anyone have experience in requesting the TPs which would have been awarded if a flight wasn’t cancelled? I was meant to travel on BA1336 on Friday, but the flight was cancelled and I was downgraded to economy on the 1338. I received 20 tier points.
I logged a complaint for the 2:40 delay and downgrade to economy. This afternoon I received an email to say that my BAEC has been credited 10,000 Avios, but there is no mention of the tier points.
I wouldn’t really be bothered about losing out on twenty TPs, but I’ve booked sectors which will get me to exactly 1500 tier points once I’ve flown the next few over the coming weeks.
