I haven’t flown Air Asia since Covid. Historically the best deals are during their big sales. Some routes include a certain amount of luggage.

I very rarely pay for meals, luggage or seats far in advance. Once I know for sure that we will fly, a week in advance, I might buy meals, and extra luggage if I’m sure we’ll need it. I’m fairly disabled, so they generally give me different seats, even if I have paid/booked for other ones.
