Adding another successful data point to the upgrade path discussion:

1. Applied for and was approved for Marriott Bonvoy Bold in January 2022
2. Attempted to product change to RC after 366 days and was told that the only option was the Bountiful. (Credit limit was already 10k at this point)
3. 2 Weeks later (after reading this forum), I product changed the Bold card to the Bountiful card
4. 1 Day after, I called and the RC was available. Verbally confirmed and new RC card is showing up in the Chase app and will be arriving soon. (Expedited delivery not available)

Thanks to everyone who figured out this upgrade path! I was a little disappointed when I first heard that they were not allowing upgrades from the Bold card since thats the whole reason I got it in the first place, so this was a nice surprise.
