I normally ask for non-alcoholic drinks when the offer OJ/champagne. As long as not flying to US from another country, not been turned down. I've had some FA say no at 1st. However I ask them to ask purser if is OK since "it's really only supposed be from international origins they cant." They either ask (and get ok) or assume I know what I'm talking about.
