Yes, I'm afraid it is, and by quite a margin (30 March for those on devices which don't show the subject line). Five days is the usual cut-off, or less. But if it wasn't weather - which tends to be obvious - then night before cancellations tend of be shortage of staff or shortage of equipment. Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA Forum.

I don’t suppose you’d have any insight on the route to appeal what felt very much like a fobbed off claim.

Of course it may also be a TECY or FCRY cancellation.
