I have never bid for an upgrade before. However at T-24 (when check-in starts) on my recent departure from SFO->LHR, the VS App offered me Economy Delight to Premium for $499 and from Premium to UC for $1,049. (I didn’t take either!) And on my previous flight from LHR->SFO the App offered me Premium to UC for £499 ($630) which I immediately took as that was a great deal IMHO!
