Someone there said security wouldn't let me thru for a flight the next day but I don't believe thats correct as I'm already on connecting flight and airside, and its the same terminal.
So after landing I should then be able to go thru security if needed, and then enter Sakura lounge till 1am that day, right?
also I probably appear as a newbie asking irrelevant qns to most people on these travel sites who seem to be seasoned experts traveling on J and awards and telling me to just get a damn hotel
There were some quite high profile cases in the bloggosphere during the pandemic where people were denied lounge access on the day of arrival for an overnight transit with ANA. And people may just focus on the overnight transit Haneda bit, and skip that there are different airlines and different rules.
If you try to go through main security (coming from Narita) with a next day boarding pass it is a no-go, for transit security just needs to be a departure within the next 24 hours.
So yeah, Reddit seems to be mixing points and issues.
