Well, that's the mystery solved. You can only have 1 Gold status Bonvoy account per Amex Platinum account and you gave it to her.
Sorry, but this is nonsense. Hilton/Marriott/Narional etc. status is for each card (nor for each primary card). 2 cards ... 2 sets of status. Account credits such as 'travel', 'airline', 'Saks' etc. are one per primary card ... everything else doubles up.
