There is an issue if you want to book as a same day return. The MCT at SOF is 60 minutes. I think some days the scheduled turnaround is 60 minutes or more, but some days it is less. Therefore it would be impossible to book as a same day return on those days it is less. For days when it is 60 minutes or more BA.com won't sell you that. You would need to call to book. Also make sure the offline booking fee is waived since this clearly should be bookable online.
I have never before today thought that people went to SOF B2B to commence longer itineraries as SOF used to be (and maybe still, only now that accolade seems to be awarded to BUD) - thus the return on the same aircraft. Clearly I was mistaken. I prefer to spend the night in SOF as I like the place and it is remarkably good value for money.
