I guess I should have explained how I actually wanted 2 drinks and a snack for free, but that would have been way beyond the FA’s comprehension.
Did you provide your CC to the FA or explain the SE and fare entitlement?
I'd write in if a FA doesn't know what to look for on a boarding pass even after seeing the status and fare type.
