My wife and I just stayed one night last night at Andaz Tokyo so I want to add my datapoint when the memory is still fresh.

We arrived at NRT and took NEX to Tokyo station, then a taxi from there to the hotel. NEX costed us 4070JPY each person round trip, because today we are flying away from NRT. Then taxi costed us about 1100JPY. Overall I would recommend this method to most people.

One thing that was particularly useful to us was we stored our large luggages at the lockers of NRT terminal, and only brought carry-on’s to Tokyo. It saved us quite much effort.

We arrived at the hotel at about 6pm. And we were upgraded to Tower View King room by hotel even before I said anything. I didn’t ask for more because of only staying at one night there. And the view was spectacular from our room #5025.

I am not Globalist and only Explorist. So no free breakfast was given. Considering 5000JPY for breakfast being quite expensive with what other folks mentioned above, we went to other outside places for breakfast.

There is a small lounge across from check-in area that provides some refreshments all day long. But don’t put too much hope on it.

Back to the room, it was our first time at Andaz Tokyo and of course it blew away all other Tokyo hotels I stayed at before in good ways. The interior was pretty nice with its unique Japanese style. The bathroom was giant considering Japanese standards.

Then the gym was fancy. The equipment just blew away what I saw in North American hotels. Really love it.

I wanted to try out the swimming pool. But I only realized I forgot my swim staff in my large luggage at NRT when I was about to go checking it. Huge disappointment as that pool looked really nice and fancy.

At last this hotel is at a pretty quiet location. But restaurant selection was a bit poor out there particularly on weekends. However, it is still at pretty center location of Tokyo.

Nice view of Tokyo Tower from room
