Quick overnight on Friday. I was reminded why I typically stayed at Marriotts (Marquis or SS) when I was traveling to San Diego frequently. Not really a fan. A huge property with very generic rooms (we wound up on the 31st floor with a partial bay view). Club breakfast not my thing - it was super crowded and the food was pretty meh (especially the sugared Chobani yogurt, which I despise). This is one of those GHs which makes me question the differentiation between Grand and Regency - there are several west coast HRs which are considerably nicer IMO (including Seattle, Lake Washington, and SF Downtown). Even LAX still provides a restaurant breakfast.

Still a good deal for 12k points.
