To be fair though, maybe our expectations are too high. I've flown F in US domestic 3 hour flights and received a small cold salad, whereas the IBZ flight is only 1.5 hours. I always eat in the lounge now rather than relying on airplane food (as there's often the small chance of no meal at al which happened to me flying back from PFO..).
I took a flight from IBZ back to LHR last month around 1600 and must say I really enjoyed the afternoon tea. I thought it was perfect for that time of day and flight length personally.
