Just HA being as extremely cheap as it is, on int'l J flights the food and drink offerings are inferior compared to any other airline on the same route, and choices are slim (two, usually both really bad choices) or none. So, the FAs can be eager to please, but HA sure makes it hard on them by not catering the flights appropriately. Can't speak about domestic flights, but presumably there it's even worse.
