I’ve never sat in the 1st row on a A330-300, so can’t speak to the amount of legroom in the foot wells.
However, I can say that on all recent A330-300 flights I’ve been on, they serve from back to front. So… this could be an issue if you are a picky eater. Yes they have pre-select for the main course, but the pre-arrival meal is not selectable in advance. Just something to consider.
I believe the A330-900neo is opposite where it is served front to back, but it’s been over a year since I was on one of those.
For those reasons I usually try and land somewhere in the middle (rows 4/5 etc).
