So you too had champagne with your beef dish. How did that pairing work out for ya?

I had the same menu last week LHR-EWR. For the drinks service in the future, I am going to ask for both champagne and whatever wine I want with my main, at least until they stop this serving everything all at once. It's a 7 hour flight for crying out loud and you would think that based on the speed of the service we were landing about an hour or so after take off.

On the plus side, our dessert cart had a chocolate mousse which was fantastic. Service was good and FA's were generally available throughout the flight.
