Also, I just want to report what the CNPC agency reported yesterday after the second detailed flyover of the volcano; there was no lava dome observed. Eruptions and tremors have been reduced and no explosions.
However, today the wind has changed directions and going east/northeast according to CNPC. If the direction change to north or even northwest the ash will be headed back to Mexico City again. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any meaningful updates. But, the CDMX government site is stating it's moving south/southeast. I know the winds in CDMX for example right now is going north bound. I mainly report on what CNPC relays since they're the agency in charge, so east/northeast is their current estimate.
