Just a quick question about so called soft landing for status level with the Accor program. For example, if you finish a year as platinum you don't drop right back to base level and start from scratch, but get a year of Gold as a 'soft landing', even without the required points/nights.. There are mixed opinions about this in online forums. I cannot find any reference to it in the terms and conditions. Anyone know anything?
