Nostalgia, nostalgia!!! Just returned from a month in Japan to celebrate my 80th birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary (FLUB both ways on the 787-9!). The nostalgia is for the positive side (there were negatives, although I can no longer recall them!!), of the attitudes/approaches/mores of the 80s/90s. Despite not having visited for a long time, economy was often an amazing place for romantic encounters, particularly west coast to Hawai'i on Western's champagne flights (unlimited champagne in both classes!) or TWA's big new C class seats trans-Atlantic. But neither airline exists anymore!

Anyway, back to the OP's theme - by an amazing coincidence, I received a message yesterday (when this post started) from someone I met by shear chance in lounges as far apart as LAX and HKG. After which, we did meet outside on one occasion outside an airport environment. BUT I had just met my 25th wedding anniversary partner and so it went nowhere!!! However, although my CCR visits have diminished in the last couple of years, who can say what adventures await? .
