What time is your flight from ZRH and where are you flying to ? -Any checked luggage?

As you will be flying into ZRH, I assume you will have separate tickets.

In that case the airline flying out of ZRH will have no responsibility to protect you if your inbound flight is delayed enough to cause you to miss the flight.
Some flights into ZRH may arrive too late for a separate connection

Weather in December may be more mixed and may not be ideal for walking outdoors ( though Christmas decorations may be nice)

For long haul tickets on a separate ticket, I like to arrive at my departure point the night before in case of any delays. YMMV

Smaller cities may not have the same flight schedules to ZRH as larger cities.
