Wine is part of the package in premium cabins as I look at it. I would certainly never pick an airline in J based on the wine they serve, but an airline serving good wines in J is generally an indicator they have thought about the soft product in detail and are willing to spend on it, which does make me more likely to choose them.

In F I have once or twice decided to take EK rather than a competitor purely based on the wines available, but this is a special case because of the occasional incredible vintages that pop up in EK F.
